This memorial is very similar to one in DO-Deusen, but the names from World War 2 make it even worse... probably it can only stand like that because people from the countryside (this is Menden/Sauerland) are more conservatory/ patriotic. Equaling soldiers who supported a criminal war and a massive genocide to a martyr seems absurd... but at least they ended similar to the George in this dragon cartoon.
