In the Middle Ages the Steinerner Turm (Stony Tower) was a watchtower approximately one kilometer away from the fortified town of Dortmund. In the background the TV tower “Florian” and the chic new metro station “Westfalenhallen” are visible. When taking this picture I stood in the entrance area of Halle 1.
