In der Tat ist das Grabensystem der LaTrobe University nicht nur nützlich zur Bewässerung im langen, trockenen Sommer, sondern sieht auch nett aus, verleiht dem Gebäudekomplex etwas Burg-artiges... dieses Foto ist von der Brücke zwischen Simpson Place und Glenn College, eine der zwei Brücken, die ich jeden Tag an der Uni mindestens zwei mal überquert habe.

Indeed the Moat System is not only usefull to provide water for irrigation during the long and dry summer, but it's looking nice too, gives the complex of buildings a somewhat castle-ish air... this photo is taken on one of the two bridges between Glenn College and Simpson Place, which I had to cross at least twice every day at Uni.
