Die Privatisierung der Unis (und Schulen) ist in Australien schon viel weiter fortgeschritten als in Deutschland. Dafür sind die Grünen aber wenigstens noch richtig dagegen (haben allerdings leider bisher keine Regierungsbeiligung).
The privatisation of unis (and schools) is much more advanced in Australia than it is in Germany. On the other hand the Greens here, at least, still vehemently oppose this (but don't participate in the Government, so far).
Senator Kerry Nettle:
The Government has released its higher education reform package. As suspected the proposed reforms will further the Coalition's long-term goal of privatisation and deregulation of Australian universities.
The Greens believe that this will be a disastrous outcome for the higher education system, which is already bleeding from funding cuts.
